Privacy Policy
Last updated 25 October 2026
This policy explains what the TracX app and its servers collect, why, who processes it, and how you delete it.
Who we are
TracX is operated by Sujeeta Kumari. For any question about your data, write to support@tracx.fit.
What we collect
- Your Apple ID email, from Sign in with Apple. If you choose to hide your email, this is Apple's private relay address. Apple may also give us your name the first time you sign in, if you share it.
- An account ID: a random identifier for your account, created when you first sign in.
- Precise location, while the app is open and, during a run, in the background until you pause or finish the run. The app does not use your location in the background at any other time.
- Run data: the route you ran (location points with their times), distance, pace, times, pauses, the loop you planned and the name of the place you ran.
- Settings: your time zone, the day your week starts and your units (km or mi).
- A Sign in with Apple token, stored encrypted, used only to revoke your Sign in with Apple authorisation when you delete your account.
What we do not collect or do
- No tracking across other apps or websites, no advertising, no advertising identifiers.
- We do not sell or share your data with anyone for their own use.
- TracX does not read your photo library. It only saves a run image to Photos when you choose to save one.
- This website sets no cookies and runs no analytics.
Why we use it
- Account ID: to keep your runs and settings with your account and apart from other people's.
- Name, if Apple gives it: shown on your profile in the app.
- Location: to show you on the map, to plan routes from where you are, and to guide and measure your runs.
- Email: to sign you in and to tell your account apart from others. We use it to contact you only about your account or a request you made.
- Run data and settings: to show your runs, records, calendar and totals, on any device you sign in on.
Who processes it
- Supabase: our database and sign-in service. It stores your account, runs and settings.
- Vercel: hosts our servers (the TracX API and map service).
- Apple: Sign in with Apple.
- Mapbox: route planning. When you plan a route, the app sends your position to our map service, which asks Mapbox for the route.
Your account, runs and settings are stored in India (Mumbai). These providers process data only to run TracX for us.
Keeping and deleting your data
We keep your data until you delete it.
- Delete account (Profile → Your data → Delete account) revokes TracX's Sign in with Apple authorisation, then deletes your account and every run, loop and setting. It cannot be undone.
- Delete all runs (Profile → Your data → Delete all runs) deletes every run and its loops. Your account and settings stay.
- If you cannot use the app, email support@tracx.fit from the address on your account and we will delete it. See Delete your account.
You can also ask us at support@tracx.fit for a copy of your data or to correct it.
Children
TracX is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has an account, write to support@tracx.fit and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
When this policy changes, we publish the new version on this page and change the date at the top. If a change affects how we use data we already hold, we will also tell you in the app or by email before it applies.
